Coast Rehabilitation Services supports people with developmental disabilities through advocacy and support services that strengthen individuals, families and the community in which they live. We are seeking a full time program manager to support staff working with people with developmental disabilities. This position is in a residential setting consisting of one home that has medical needs located in Warrenton, Oregon. The location for this position is the North Oregon Coast.
Responsibilities:
Promote CRS Mission and Values.
Assures support and treatment of residents that include a positive and safe home environment; maintain individual records, monitor household activities.
Be knowledgeable to promote, model and adhere CRS's Policies and Procedures, including the Employee Handbook, Ethical Guidelines and Union Contract.
Be knowledgeable of and adhere to Oregon Administrative Rules and other rules/regulations that are applicable.
Participate as an integral part of a team working in a supportive environment attending to medical and personal care in the home.
Scheduling for Direct Support Professional staff. Manage the staffing needs for the residential program.
Contribute to staff training and continuous staff development.
Participate in overseeing staff issues, including discipline, GER (General Events Report), grievances
Plan and conduct staff meetings, schedules and agendas.
Responsible for approval of NOVA Time (electronic time sheets).
Account for and request operational funds, oversee resident funds; ensure programs operate within the budget. Monitor and stay current on client spend downs.
Excellent computer skills.
Requirements:
College Degree (or five years experience in this or related field).
Three years related experience with a strong background in supervising.
Knowledge of people with developmental disabilities.
Committed to a Person Centered Approach in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
Will need to be creative and adaptable to change.
Benefits package includes medical / dental, vision, FLEX plan, 401-k, life, short term, long term disability. Generous Paid Leave Time. Salary $39,000 doe. Applicant must send in a resume, cover letter and completed application(available on CRS website).
